Season 2 Logan FTMFW. As much as I hate to admit it, I like Logan most when he's desperate and crazy and setting pools on fire and fighting with Weevil and constantly giving Veronica shit. Logan and Weevil becoming a crime-fighting duo is kind of my favorite thing that ever happened on the show.

Oh, absolutely. Desperate Logan is the best, not to mention that my favorite part of the whole L/V relationship is when they're super pissed at each other but obviously still want to get to the sexing. Also, I think that around about Plan B he really hits his peak, physically speaking.

I think Logan had a lot more to do season two (rhyme!) that's why I can't hate on it too much, but his looks were most consistent and lovely, for me, in season one. It was before he got The Trainer and his body was best in AEFC, I think.

While I find him more attractive in S2 (which is largely influenced by how damaged and mean he is because I am WEIRD), I def agree that his body is best in AEFC. I prefer him a little scrawnier. Although I did just see him partly naked (sex with Kendall) and I'd be happy with him either way.

icon love! Shaun of the Dead was the last movie I was super, super excited for and went in with really high expectations, and came out of it loving it even more than I thought I could. That never happens anymore. But, sadly, most zombie films now suck. I'm an old school Romero fan.

Zombie-themed summer sounds AMAZING! Since I've successfully brought up zombies and VM in one comment, I'll admit this- I totally just joined vm_santa this year because I really, really hoped to get your prompt. I didn't and I still had fun, but damn, that hurt.

I think I've watched SotD more times than anything else in my life. Not only do I adore zombies, but I'm also a huge fan of the whole Spaced crew, so that film is basically a collision of everything I could ever want in life.

Oh man, I watched Night of the Living Dead this year for the first time since I was about nine (my zombie-love was implanted early on) and it totally killed me. That movie is so creepy/perfect. Pet Semetary is On Demand right now, which has some unusual kind-of-zombies and isn't exactly the best movie I've ever seen, but does a nice job of of combing cheesy horror movie elements with some really freaky ones. I think the sequels are there, too.

Um... YOU SHOULD WRITE IT ANYWAY! That should be a pre-req for the fandom: everyone has to write a VM/zombie crossover. I feel so bad about vm_santa, though--I never got around to writing my fic. I really failed, especially since I got an awesome gift. I hope it's still running next year so I can redeem myself.

My favorite is still the original Dawn of the Dead. All of those movies were filmed really close to me. I live like 10 minutes away from the Evans City cemetery where they filmed Night, and Day of the Dead was filmed in the Wampum Mines, which is an even shorter drive on the other side of town.

I wish I could just write it! I actually started an OC zombie story that I don't ever plan on showing anyone, but I could use a lot of elements to make it work for VM. But I made a big deal about needing to stop writing VM fic and so my WIP is my last one. Maybe I'll make a sock puppet and just deny it, ha.

I have been to the cemetery! If I go back, I'll definitely take pics. I really want to go to the zombie walk in Pittsburgh this year, because I always miss it every other year for some reason or another, and it's always so epic. Maybe around Halloween I'll have a zombie weekend and hit all of the filming spots and take pictures, in addition to pics of the walk (some people do some amazing things with costumes and makeup, from the pics I've seen). But you can't take pics in the Monroeville Mall (where the original Dawn was filmed) because they're insane there about it and don't allow it. Maybe I'll sneak!

Haha, MY FAULT, I meant OC as in original characters. I never watched that show! Mischa Barton's face always angered me too much. Sorry! But if Seth would be excited for a zombie apocalypse, that's a character I want to know.

I wanted to stop writing VM fic because I waste too much time reading/writing/thinking about it and hardly anyone reads it anymore, so I've been writing my own stories for myself that I won't ever show anyone, ha. Like my zombie story that's post zombie apocalypse, but with a serial killer who's offing survivors and leaving them tied up, as zombies, as his calling card. Idk, sounds better in my head. But those things are just more fun to write.

A zombie weekend sounds amazing, especially during Halloween.

Also, I've been working on my EPICMAMMOTH vm fic archive/rec list and I'm reading fic from 2005 and MY GOD, there was never another fandom so prolific and full of gut-wrenchingly good writers. I have ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-TWO fics archived. SO FAR. Some are more recent, from when I was still trolling the comms, but I've at least doubled the amount just since starting this project. *sobs* I miss my little fandom that could.

I KNOW. There is so much amazing VM fic out there. Last time I went through my recs, though, I found a bunch of dead links and it just breaks my heart. Why the hell would people want to take away their beautiful stories??

It is officially too late for me to be going through my Friendslist, but TOO BAD. 4:22 am commenting it is.

1. I voted for season one Logan pretty much because of fandom. The summer between season one and two I pretty much breathed VM fandom, most of which was devoted to how very, very much Logan and Veronica should be getting it on. Definitely the peak of my Logan love, though I to this day love him a ridiculous amount (come on, I tried watching Moonlight for him.)

2. I suggested WE, a totally awesome Russian novel with a couple who remind me of a more Russian literature version of Baltar/Six (but again, fandom totally eating into every aspect of my life at the time), but IGNORE ME, because it is way more important that you read Good Omens. Also, if you're feeling really lazy about your reading you can do what I've been doing and start reading graphic novels. Y:The Last Man pretty much makes me life since it's a well written - post apocalyptic - gender issue - action adventure comic book about an English Major and his monkey named Ampersand.

Unfortunately, I didn't discover fandom until the summer after season two, so I missed a lot of the community aspects of the time after season one, but I did go back and read every little bit of fic from that time. I just really love S2 Logan because he's so mean and broken. It's hot, haha.

Actually, I've already read that one! I had to read a Russian novel for one of my classes freshman year and Virginia suggested that one. I really enjoyed it, I remember the writing being pretty awesome. In particular, there was this one passage where the main dude imagines having sex with a chair that made me laugh hysterically. Hopefully you remember this and I'm not coming off insane.
